Have you ever thought about what the busiest spot in Ludhiana is? As a matter of fact we cross is so many times in a day and begin to wonder if there can possibly be something missing. If you are thinking of Malhar Road you have absolutely got me right, that is exactly the place I am talking about.

Haven’t you ever stepped out at night to go for a drive and suddenly you just stop and realize what a top notch metropolitan city Ludhiana has turned into overnight. Sometimes it is hard to believe whether you are actually in Ludhiana. The loud music blaring on the speakers in some bar, the buzzing lights of a disco, the neon signs of restaurants hanging above your head which are always bigger than what you imagine. For a moment everyone just seems to stop to register what they are seeing.

From The Bruu Kiln, Ice Cream Studio to Sonu Gandhi and Headmasters you name it and you have it. It is really hard for me to imagine how much courage you need to drive or pedal to Malhar road because ludicrous amount of people come here day and night. The street is slowly and gradually turning into the bustling heart of Ludhiana. You could spend a whole day here and not find a minute to spare. Start by going to Burger King and picking up a bite or two and refresh yourself with some mouth watering kulfi from Basant. Your next task should be window shopping and maybe get a few good books for yourself. And it wouldn’t hurt if you treat yourself to an incredible nail art. And if you are craving for some Indian delicacies, Gopal Sweets is the right place. For the rest of the day you can simply sit and enjoy at The Rich People with your friends.

And there goes a day well spent. And as your super productive day comes to an end you can grab your groceries and go back to living in reality. I really wish that it converts into a walking street at night so we get the true feel of the place.
